5 position battles to watch with Jets OTAs underway

With every NFL offseason comes a slew of position battles across the league. Veterans duking it out with young players and even rookies for starting jobs, or spots on the 53-man roster, is common, and the Jets are no exception to that.

New York currently finds itself hosting numerous position battles with OTAs underway in Florham Park. The Jets have starting jobs on both sides of the ball available for the taking this offseason and there are plenty of worthy competitors at One Jets Drive who could win the gigs that are up for grabs.

With OTAs in full swing and training camp just over a month away, here is a look at five position battles Jets fans should keep a close eye on as the offseason continues to progress.
