The third round pick is ready to soak up all the knowledge from Davante Adams and contributed immediately

After a year of hearing cries from fans, Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst finally gave in.

He finally caved in and brought Rodgers on board.

No, that Rodgers. The other one, rookie wide receiver Amari Rodgers.

When the Packers drafted Rodgers in the third round of this year’s draft, ideas instantly started forming in people’s heads about how the standout receiver from Clemson would be utilized in head coach Matt LaFleur’s offense.

It turns out Rodgers had the same thoughts, even before Green Bay drafted him. He asked his coaches at Clemson to get him film of Davante Adams to watch his crazy release off the line of scrimmage and his precision route running.

Rodgers even told analyst Brandon Marshall his dream draft scenario was to end up in Green Bay.

That dream has been fulfilled and now he can learn from Adams in person. Where Rodgers will ultimately be used is still up for debate, but he can do it all: play the Tyler Ervin-jet sweep role, line up wide, or even return kicks.

There is no limit to the ways a player like Rodgers can be used and it will be exciting to watch unfold as LaFleur goes all mad scientist with his rookie weapon.
