The Islanders partnered up with the New York Jets on a Dan Feeney t-shirt, which is adorned in Islanders blue-and-orange and features an outline of Feeney’s famous mullet and stache.
All proceeds earned on the shirt will benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Feeney has raised awareness for the disease in the past through the NFL’s My Cause My Cleats program.

Feeney, who recently turned 27, was drafted out of Indiana by the Chargers with the 71st overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, becoming the first third-round pick by the team after their move to Los Angeles.
Following a season-ending bicep injury to starting left guard Matt Slauson (the Jets’ former sixth-round pick) in Week 7 of Feeney’s rookie year, Feeney took over as the Chargers’ starting left guard and proceeded to start 57 consecutive games for Los Angeles through the conclusion of the 2020 season. He started 40 games at left guard and 17 at center, moving to center full-time in 2020 and starting all 16 games in the middle.
Feeney signed a one-year, $3.5 million deal with the Jets this past March. The deal includes $3 million guaranteed. Feeney projects to compete with Greg Van Roten and Cameron Clark for the Jets’ starting right guard spot.
