The New York Jets head to upstate New York to visit the Buffalo Bills in a rematch of the Jets’ Week 9 win at home. The sportsbooks believe the return meeting will be just a little bit different.
The Jets open as an 8.5-point underdog against the Bills for Week 14, thanks to our friends at Tipico Sportsbook. The Jets are +350 moneyline to win while the Bills are -425.
Of course, the spread was larger in the first meeting. The Jets won as a 10.5-point underdog in Week 9 with a +360 moneyline, so there’s at least precedent for the Jets here.
That said, the Bills will look a little different than they did in the first meeting. For one, Bills safety Jordan Poyer will be playing this time, as will linebacker Matt Milano. Both missed the Week 9 meeting due to injuries.
But the Jets will have Mike White at quarterback and Corey Davis and Zonovan Knight on the field. None of them played in Week 9.
This week is a big one for the Jets and a good week to score a second win as a major underdog.
