In the midst of their 30-10 loss to the Cowboys, the New York Jets had multiple starters suffer injuries
It was a very rough day for the New York Jets. The team suffered a convincing 30-10 defeat at the hands of the Dallas Cowboys, being outplayed in every facet of the game.
To make matters worse, the Jets lost multiple starters due to injury during the course of the game.
Early on, the Jets lost both Tony Adams and Michael Carter II. Both players did not return, as Adams suffered a hamstring injury and Carter suffered an elbow injury.

The injuries did not stop there. Garrett Wilson was shaken up late in the game and was taken to the locker room. Linebacker Quincy Williams was also lost during the game, as he suffered a knee injury. John Franklin-Myers was also evaluated in the medical tent but returned to the game.

After the game, the Jets gave updates on some of the players who left the game early with injuries.
Jets Injury Update: WR Garrett Wilson had the wind knocked out of him. LB Quincy Williams is being evaluated with a knee injury. CB Michael Carter II could have returned, but the Jets took a cautious approach with their nickel CB

The Wilson news is encouraging. New York cannot afford to lose arguably its best offensive player after the Aaron Rodgers injury.
Carter II appears to be fine, as he could have returned to the game. Treating him with caution was a smart move considering the disparity on the scoreboard near the end of the game.
We will have to wait for more news on Williams and Adams. Williams would be a tough loss, especially considering the team’s thin depth at the linebacker spot. The same goes for Adams, as safety depth is also a concern.
With an important game coming up against the New England Patriots, the Jets need to be as healthy as possible. The recovery of their banged-up players throughout the upcoming week will be a huge factor going into next week’s divisional battle.
