Even before having played a single down for the New England Patriots, quarterback Mac Jones is already one of their most prominent players. Jones, after all, was selected 15th overall by the Patriots in this April’s draft and will be their next face of the franchise.

It will take some time before he will become the next face of the Madden NFL franchise, though. As some screenshots from the game circulating on the internet show, the rookie looks nothing like himself in the game.

Obviously, there is a chance that his face — as suggested by the Reddit CFB Twitter account — simply has not been scanned yet by EA Sports. Still, for now Jones looks fairly unrecognizable.

This, in turn, has led to some hilarious responses on social media:

Madden NFL 22 is scheduled to be released in late August. Former Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and Kansas City Chiefs passer Patrick Mahomes are on the cover.
