Raiders’ tight end is attending the NFL position summit
Darren Waller is back in college … well, sort of.
The Las Vegas Raiders’ star tight end is expected to be in Nashville today to start a three-day camp featuring the best tight ends in the NFL. The summit is being billed as “tight end University” and was formed earlier this year by San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle, Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce and former NFL tight end Greg Olsen.

According to the Tennessee Titans’ website, 45-50 tight ends are expected to attend the camp. In addition to Waller, Kittle and Kelce, some of the other tight ends expected to be at the camp include: Mark Andrews, Zach Ertz, Evan Engram, Noah Fant, Austin Hooper, Kyle Rudolph, Jonnu Smith, Marcedes Lewis, Tyler Higbee, Eric Ebron and Kyle Pitts.
This camp will give Waller a chance to show off his immense skills to the other top players at his position. Waller burst on the scene for the Raiders in 2019 and he has 197 combined receptions in the past two seasons. That is second in the NFL behind only Kelce’s 202 catches.
